QUARTERS

QUARTERS ★

fresh off the release of their 3rd album, Quarters spent a night in Colorado as a stop on their LP3 Tour. Playing hits from their new album “I HOPE THIS ISN’T THE END OF THE WORLD” they immersed us in their world.

As a long time fangirl, my dream was to always work a show with my friends and the opportunity for just that presented itself to my friend group thanks to Quarters! Hailing from The Big Apple, Ben, Jasper, Attila, and the band made a stop in Denver, Colorado for their tour celebrating the release of their 3rd LP. While I was shooting the show, my two friends were holding down merch, only for us to come together to watch a bit of Quarters’ set together and enjoy the night.

Telescreens kicked off the show with a ton of energy right off the bat saying “what you give us, we will give you” meaning the vibes were about to shift completely. Also coming from New York City, Telescreens brought their all to the show, showing how much they genuinely love music and performing. There were moments where one of the members, Jackson Hamm, would jump off the drum kit and then land and spin around on the floor on his back just mere moments later. By the end of the set, not only was the band drenched head to toe in sweat, but the concert-goers in the crowd were also a little more damp than when they first came in. This is exactly the kind of fun and upbeat environment that a Quarters’ show needs, they were the perfect addition to get the crowd riled up.

Porch Light

Porch Light ★

The second act of the night was brought to us by Porch Light. Formed in 2024 and coming from Minneapolis, this band was a crowd hit, there were fans decked out in official Porch Light merch and even more were singing along to the words. They even gave a special shoutout to one of their longtime fans, Tommy, for it being their 5th show that they have attended. So wherever you are Tommy, kudos to you! As the show continued on, the more interactive with the crowd they became as vocalist Jackie Uhas even made a moment of jumping in the crowd to dance with everyone. The audience had nothing but kind words to say about Porch Light and there were multiple murmurs from the crowd like “she dresses so cool” and “oh my gosh that was so fun”. Porch Light had the audience in the palm of their hand and they left a lasting impression, closing their set with new fans to remember the experience.

It was time for the headliner to hop on stage, and while it was my first time seeing Quarters, my friends have had the pleasure of attending one of their tours prior to this. Quarters’ just released their LP3 titled “I Hope This Isn’t The End Of The World” which is a body of work that experiments with new sounds and new meaning. While this album has the signature Quarters’ essence, there are songs on the project that they have tried something new on. Throughout the live performance, it was clear to see how excited and proud they were of this new album. Starting the show with “EZ” a perfect song to open with since the lyrics consist of introductions like “So nice to meet you”. From here, Quarters took the audience on a journey of their discography with songs both older and newer.

This album being a sound that Quarters’ have grown into over the years means the stage production is going to grow with it as well. Fans in the crowd noted how immersive the lights were and how they reflected each song in their own individual way. Quarters put on a show that made for a night to remember, from Jasper shredding those guitar solos, Ben singing his heart out, and Attila killing it on the drums, they were really giving it their all on that stage. When it was time for the encore, they slowed it down a little bit and took to a two piece on stage. With just Jasper and Ben on stage, they performed a fan favorite “Die in Your Arms”, sharing a very heartfelt moment with the crowd.

Quarters finished their set and hopped off stage but not before leaving the crowd with one last burst of energy, finishing with “T Love” in which the audience could jump and dance one last time. Not even ten minutes had passed and there were already rumblings in the crowd about the next time they would make a stop in Denver. Safe to say that Quarters is always welcome in the Mile High City, and adjacent, with friendly smiles from their audience here.
