Were your childhood bedroom walls covered in Tiger Beat posters? Did you own a dog tag necklace? Did you swear you were going to marry a Jonas Brother? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may have plans to experience “The Burning Up Tour All Over Again” when it comes to your town in the coming months.

Brothers Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas lit up Madison Square Garden in New York City for three nights straight as the kickoff to their newest tour that is essentially a replication of their Burning Up Tour from 2008. I was fortunate enough to attend all three nights and they brought out all the original stops ranging from the same exact stage decor they dug out of storage, to modernized replications of their 2008 stage outfits, and even including familiar pyro effects you could feel the warmth of all the way in the lower bowl.

The brothers had a special request which was that everyone wear red. When a Jonas brother asks you to wear red to their show, fans’ only question was “what shade?” That being said, everywhere you looked there were red dresses, fire themed accessories, and even some high heels for those brave enough.

The show was broken down into two acts. The first act was the same setlist they performed on the original Burning Up Tour which included some of their biggest hits, “Hold On”, “That’s Just The Way We Roll” and of course “Burnin’ Up”. They even pulled out some songs from “Camp Rock” with Nick singing vocals on some for the first time–a nice surprise for the Nick girls. The incredible first half was then followed by a brief intermission where clips from their podcast were shown as people fled the stands to get their drinks and snacks. When they returned from break, they closed out the second half with a bang, consisting of a mix of older music and newer music–which included their brand new (and at the time unreleased) song “Listen When Sad”. Every merch table purchase also included a CD copy of the new song which was very exciting for fans to discover.

As someone who attended all three nights, the energy just got better and better with each show. On the final night, Joe accidentally misread a fan’s sign and announced a pregnancy to her husband that didn’t actually exist which caused a lot of laughter and commotion on the internet in the hours following the show. The brothers also came out in suits for the second act, and each night the colors would change. The first night they wore black suits, the second night they chose white suits, and on night three fans were begging, pleading, and demanding on social media for red suits. The fans won that round and the screams when they entered the stage in red were loud enough to cause an earthquake.

The entire night was a perfect blend of both nostalgic childhood memories relived and new memories made, with more recent music and modernized adaptations of 2008 tour antics. While the foam guns and trampolines got left at home this tour, the 2026 version of the Burning Up Tour did not fall short in any way. Whether you grew up loving these brothers or are just discovering their music now, this tour is one you do not want to miss.
